Established in 1994, GB-Sol is a UK company manufacturing solar PV panels and mounting systems at our spacious factory just north of Cardiff. A spin-out from Cardiff University, GB-Sol has been at the forefront of solar power generation for several decades. Today, we continue to lead in the application of solar through our stunning PV Slates, Infinity & Integrated solar roofs, as well as conventional solar installations of all sizes from housing retrofits to large scale commercial installations. .
GB-Sol is one of the longest-established solar PV companies in the World. We own our own factory, substantial intellectual property, and have mature processes to ensure that installed systems are robust and safe.

GB-Sol is certified and annually audited to ISO 45001 for workplace health and safety standards. Our installation business is certified by CHAS and Alcumus (SafeContractor). We are an accredited Living Wage employer.

GB-Sol Projects is a member of the Renewable Energy Code of Conduct, committed to high standards of transparency, clarity and good practice when selling solar PV to domestic customers. Our staff are trained to give technical advice and pricing information to customers, and not to sell on the basis of packback or investment return.
Our solar slates and solar roof products are manufactured using toughened glass, marine-grade aluminium & stainless steel, and are independently tested & certified. Our products are more extensively proven than those of any of our competitors, globally.
