We are committed to embedding ESG principles into every part of our business — from the traceability of raw materials in our supply chain, to the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees, to the transparency of our governance structures. The work to achieve this is undertaken by the board, the management team, staff members and supported by external consultants.

Responsible procurement

GB-Sol is committed to responsible procurement and ethical sourcing. We expect our suppliers to operate legally, ethically and sustainably, and all key suppliers are required to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct. We undertake appropriate due diligence, maintain traceability for key components where appropriate, and seek to build long-term relationships with responsible suppliers. Wherever practical, we purchase from local and UK suppliers to reduce environmental impacts and support local economies.

Circular Economy

Solar products are designed to deliver environmental benefits over many decades. The durability, reliability and long service life of our products are key contributors to sustainability. We promote repair, reuse, recycling and responsible end-of-life management.

GB-Sol is committed to managing our environmental impact, reducing waste, and promoting sustainability in our operations. We are ISO 14001 certified and ensure we comply with all Welsh and UK environmental legislation.

Integrity

GB-Sol Projects is a member of the Renewable Energy Code of Conduct, committed to high standards of transparency, clarity and good practice when selling solar PV to domestic customers. Our staff are trained to give technical advice and pricing information to customers, and not to sell on the basis of packback or investment return.

Waste minimisation

GB-Sol is a member of PV Cycle and our factory is a registered collection point where broken or end of life solar panels can be brought for proper recycling. All electronic waste is suitably dealt with and recycled under the WEEE regulations.

GB-Sol is committed to complying with applicable tax laws and regulations. We seek to maintain accurate financial records, submit tax returns on time and pay the taxes legally due in the jurisdictions where we operate.
